The Fly - A Micro-Fiction Story
THE FLY By H. H. Lisberg (c) 2017 The local news station report on new Nano technology, concerning drones, small as house flies: “... they are built to fight terrorism!” “Built to fight terrorism - ha!” A bald man comments while leaving the bar. As he leaves, a small house fly exits with him. The morning after, an anchor man on TV reports: “… the man was found dead this morning in an alley…” The bartender turns to watch. While the camera zooms in on the face of the bald dead man, the rest is blurred, a small house fly walks on top of the dead man’s head. THE END
